The Duke Mansion Wedding | Julia & David Welch
David and Julia’s Duke Mansion Wedding was literally a dream come true…and dare I say one of the most beautifully executed weddings I’ve had the honor of photographing? Anne Markey, of Favor me Events hit is out of the park, as always. The already dazzling Duke Mansion was looking even more beautiful after she put her magic touch on the day…and let’s not forget to mention the florals…..WOW!
Our morning started as most do with Julia and her fabulous girls getting dolled up by Cali Stot Artistry. As they sipped on mimosas (in the most adorable PJs ever) and got pampered, David and his groomsmen hung out as guys tend to do. The beauty of getting married at The Duke Mansion, especially when your couple lives in New York City, and whose guests span coast to coast, is being able to book out the venue AND HOTEL ROOMS too!! Forget something or need to change, no problem…I’ll just run down to my room real quick!
The Duke Mansion Wedding | Portraits
Before we knew it, it was time for the first look. David and Julia opted to do a first look and ALL photos prior to their ceremony so they could really soak up the wedding and enjoy the time with their closest family and friends. Genius, right!?

At precisely 5:00 PM, Julia walked down the aisle to ‘Canon in D’ and promised her forever to David under the most beautiful chupah. They broke glass and sealed their promise to each other with a romantic kiss.
The remainder of the night flew by as the sounds of The Free serenaded the guests. The night was a dream come true for everyone involved. Cheers to the new Mr. and Mrs. Welch!!
XOXO – Katy
