Champagne Manor Wedding | Heather and Rob

This past weekend was Heather and Rob’s beautiful wedding at the FABULOUS Champagne Manor. Being the first time I have ever been to a Champagne Manor Wedding, I was unsure how the property photographed, how the staff was, and what to expect. Well – I was blown away. owners – Cyndy and Mike are AMAZING. Talk about being in good hands. I would highly recommend Champagne Manor for any future bride’s wedding. They were truly a joy to work with. One thing I love about how a Champagne Manor Wedding works is a key component that they require every wedding couple have to wed there – a wedding planner. We all know, wedding planning is a TOUGH task and requires vision, patience and a foot in the door with key vendors. There was no better planner to execute Heather and Rob’s wedding than Libby Sarver of Details Wedding Planning. Libby and I have been friends since the inception of both our businesses, and she is incredible. To see her growth is inspiring. I was thrilled when she referred Heather, not only because Heather and Rob are amazing, but I was so excited to work with Libby again! It had been too long!

Champagne Manor Wedding | Heather and Rob

This Champagne Manor Wedding was a bit different compared to all the weddings I’ve ever worked for one small detail – until the wedding weekend I had never met, nor spoken to Heather or Rob…something that has never happened! You see, Heather and Rob live in Guam!! Heather is a nurse in the Navy and the two have been stationed in Guam for the last 2 years. When Libby had reached out to me last year, and explained the situation, there was not a chance I would miss this wedding. It is an honor to serve two of the sweetest people that serve our nation, and the honor was all mine. Now never speaking to, or meeting, a couple you are about to photograph is quite the gamble, and I’m not going to lie, I was a bit nervous. My anxiety was immediately put at ease when I met these two, however. They welcomed me with open arms, and were an ease to photograph.

Our time together started Thursday night, when we met for Heather’s bridal session. Heather and Rob’s adorable 9 month old daughter, Savannah, also attended the shoot and I melted. Can we talk about a beautiful baby?! And a baby that is so GOOD!!! She didn’t make a peep!! Come Saturday morning, Heather and I had built a rapport and she welcomed me into her circle of closest friends as they got ready in the BEST bridal suite in Charlotte – yet another fabulous point for Champagne Manor Weddings. After the girls were beautified by Megan of Blushing Hair and Makeup, everyone relaxed until ceremony time. Up until this point – we had grey, grey, grey sky. There may or may not have been a few showers leading up to ceremony time, and I may or may not have been silently praying it would clear up for our outdoor ceremony. Well God is good. The MINUTE, literally the minute, Heather walked down the aisle, the sky opened up and the sun shone down. What would have been a 101 degree July day, was a beautiful 80 degree night. It was perfect.

After Darin completed the most beautiful ceremony, the couple celebrated their marriage under a tent where Chris of Carolina DJ brought the house down. Guests partied all night long as they enjoyed this night dedicated to Heather and Rob.

To Heather and Rob: I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness. You are two souls meant to be together. Your love for each other and your daughter are inspiring!! I am so excited to see where life takes you!

XOXO –
