Luxury Vietnamese Wedding – Noda Center Stage | Lan & German
Where to begin with this incredible wedding…Nga Vu Designs, I bow down. Wow! Lan and German, who live in New York City decided to have their wedding day at St. Peter’s Catholic Church and Noda Center Stage. With Nga Vu at the helm, their destination planning was a breeze. Nga not only plans weddings but is also an incredible florist. With Lan’s vision for white bountiful wisteria chandelier, these two were a match made in Heaven.
The day started with everyone getting ready at Marriott Center City in Uptown Charlotte. Lan surprised me, when walking into the suite, I was greeted by the most handsome Jamie of J.L Davis, who custom designed not only one, but two looks for her wedding day (Stay tuned friends, stay tuned). The intricate lace detail and voluminous skirt made my heart skip a beat!!
St. Patrick’s Catholic Church | Bilingual Ceremony
After everyone was looking their best, we headed over to St. Patrick’s Catholic Church nestled in the heart of Uptown. This beautiful cathedral was the perfect backdrop for Lan and German’s multicultural wedding ceremony. Each part of the ceremony had a Vietnamese translation that was beyond beautiful.
Luxury Vietnamese Wedding | Reception – Noda Center Stage
After saying ‘I do’ Lan and German were wisked away to a 100% TRANSFORMED Noda Center Stage. Holy moly I die. The floral chandy was out of this world. The food, ya’ll the food. Guests dined on nine courses of Vietnamese delicacys. The highlight of the night for me was the Vietnamese tradition of greeting each table and thanking your guests for coming…but the Vietnamese tradition includes taking a shot AT EVERY TABLE!! It was a BLAST!!!!
Ya’ll know I LOVE immersing myself in different cultures and traditions and this wedding was no disappointment. It was an honor and a pleasure to bear witness to Lan and German’s love story. While they head back to NYC for a quick minute, I hope they enjoy relaxing in Barbados and relive their wedding day through this blog. I cannot wait to see the film from Andrey Solo Films too!!
