Myers Park Country Club Wedding | Banner & Michael
Oh where to begin with this one…Banner and Michael’s Myers Park Country Club wedding was why I do what I do. It was the absolute best wedding. If you are ever blessed enough to meet Banner and Michael, you will quickly understand why I say that. This Myers Park Country Club wedding was full of beautiful details, perfect florals and an amazing group of people whom support them – but that wasn’t at all what made it perfect. It was Banner and Michael themselves.
Myers Park Country Club Wedding | Getting Ready
Myers Park Country Club Wedding | Pre Ceremony
These two truly are made for each other…which was confirmed even more after Banner’s dad’s fabulous speech. You see Banner is different than most. She knows exactly who she is, and exactly what she deserves – and she waited until the time was right, and the man of her dreams would enter her life. When I first met Banner, she reminded me so very much of my sister in law Leslie. Her kind nature, sweet smile and huge heart made me gravitate towards her. I wanted to be apart of her life. After seeing her and Michael the day of their wedding – it was solidified. She (and Michael) are stuck with me. I just love them. Their love for each other is apparent in every move they make. The joy in which they felt throughout the entire day is relived through their photos – to which I may or may not have cried, laughed and swooned over multiple times while culling. The support their friends and family have promised to them, is uncompromised. And the journey the Lord has in store for them is unparalleled.

Myers Park Country Club Wedding | Portraits
In order to highlight a few of my favorite moments in this Myers Park Country Club Wedding – I would have to narrow them down to five. 1. The importance Banner and Michael place on Christ being first in their marriage. A perfect example of this is how they planned out their rehearsal dinner coverage. Instead of having me photograph the dinner, they asked I photograph the candid moments of their church run through. They were having a jam session before and really wanted to document them worshiping and remembering why they were here in the first place. 2. The undeniably sweet sweet reaction of Michael reading Banner’s letter to him prior to her walking down the aisle. #allthefeels 3. The peaceful nature of Banner. I say this with not to take away from any bride in the past (Lord knows I was a NERVOUS wreck) but Banner was literally just at peace. She did not have a single ounce of anxiety. Even before walking down the aisle. She took a deep breathe, said a quick prayer and walked down to meet her forever partner. 4. THE BEST RECEPTION EVER. This will be a VERY hard one to top ya’ll. Wow, this group knew how to DANCE!!!! While it was the latest wedding I’ve covered, I seriously did not want it to end. It was so fun watching the entire 240 person guest list boogy all night long. 5. The firework exit. I mean – what photographer doesn’t want this exit?? It was amazing.
